Rajat is an alumnus of the National Law Institute University, Bhopal and is an Advocate-on-Record in the Supreme Court of India. He has an experience of over 14 years at handling high-value and complex matters in indirect tax, direct tax, foreign trade policy and general commercial disputes. Rajat helps clients in navigating investigation proceedings before the Directorate General of Goods and Services Tax Intelligence (DGGI) & Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) besides appearing in courts in prosecution proceedings in Customs and GST matters.
Rajat also provides advisory on structuring of commercial transactions and family settlements and specialises in the blockchain sphere in structuring multi-jurisdictional operations in a manner that is efficient from a tax, regulatory and accounting perspective.
